Joel McKinney founded Blackhawk Studios in 1988. Blackhawk Studios' products and services divide into three lines: the Fine Art studio, the Multi-media studio, and the Commercial Production studio.

• The Commercial studio offers several lines of handmade ceramic tile, tile murals, Etched Glass, and Cast and Fabricated metal and ceramic Architectural Accents, and an extensive array of custom design services.

• The Media Studio offers a full range of Graphic Design and Web services, as well as Educational Multimedia (elearning) production, including digital video.

• The Fine Art studio's artists produce Weavings, Sculpture, Paintings, and both Cast and Fabricated Jewelry.

We have a full cermics studio, a bronze casting foundry, a digital media facility, weaving studio with several types of looms, and multipurpose studio space for additional projects.
