Relief Ceramic with Bronze Accent

8' 6" by 6' 6" this relief mural utilized deep colors achieved with underglaze and a clear glaze surface. An unintentional over-firing resulted in a very rich distortion of the sky blue underglaze, a technique I have intentionally used in later work. The bronze lizard was lost-wax cast.
This mural is permanently installed in the Recreation/Athletic facility at Southwest State University in Marshall, MN.
